Ripping Circular Saw Blades for Wood

Ripping blades cut wood along the grain – when sawing boards, beams and timber. They have fewer, larger teeth with generous gullets for sawdust, so the cut is fast and does not bind, even in green or resinous wood.

What You'll Find

  • 🔹 Pilana Ø250–Ø450 mm, 30 mm bore, 24–36 FZ / LWZ teeth (plus Ø250 with WZ teeth, 32–80 Z) – for table saws and sawmill machines.
  • 🔹 ROTOR Ø160–Ø300 mm, 24–60 teeth, with reduction ring – for hand-held circular saws and table saws.
  • 🔹 KEDR Ø210 mm, 24 WZ teeth – for hand-held circular saws.

How to Choose

  • Fewer teeth (24–36) – fast cutting, ideal for ripping.
  • FZ (flat) teeth – softwood and rough cutting; LWZ / WZ (alternate bevel) – a cleaner cut.
  • Check the maximum diameter and bore your machine accepts.

The teeth are tungsten carbide (HW), brazed to a steel body, for long life and multiple resharpenings.
