Made for professionals and woodworking enthusiasts, this cutter lets you create sophisticated cornices, perfect for refined finishes in your projects. Thanks to its optimized geometry, it ensures fine, tear-free cuts regardless of the type of wood processed.
🔹 Main Features:
✔ Specialized profile – ideal for elegant and detailed cornices
✔ HSS M2 inserts – high durability and precise cuts
✔ Superior reliability – suitable for intensive use
✔ Clean and uniform cuts – no vibration or finishing defects
Whether you're working on classic furniture, interior restorations or custom joinery projects, this cutter is the ideal choice for premium results.
⚠️ Limitations in use:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with HW (K40) inserts
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS M2 vs. HW (K40) (Brazed Tools)
The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.
✅ Purchase Conclusions:
-
Working with Fir, Spruce or Pine? Go straight for HSS M2. It is the only one that guarantees immaculately white wood, without black burn marks, thanks to the extremely sharp edge that "shaves" the fibre.
-
Working with Oak, Beech or laminated wood? Choose HW (K40). The temperature resistance of cemented carbide lets it cut thousands of linear metres of hardwood without needing sharpening.
-
Speed and Feed: Remember that brazed HW (K40) cutters require a constant feed. If you stay in one place with the cutter rotating on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
