Bore-type cutter with a heat-treated steel body, brazed with DS Steel inserts, designed for making longitudinal finger joints with a seating shoulder. The profile increases the glue contact surface, ensuring a flush bond and high structural mechanical strength. Supplied with 2 flanged bushes included for reducing the bore from Ø32 to Ø30 mm.

⚠️ USAGE LIMITATIONS (DS STEEL):

❌ NOT recommended for particleboard, MDF, HDF or very dense exotic wood!
Intended for processing natural softwood (fir, spruce, pine, linden etc.). For hardwoods or intensive industrial use, contact us for a tailored solution.
Ideal for: producing panels, table tops and stable solid wood structures.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES IN USE:

Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses, mask or respirator (fine wood dust) and ear protection for prolonged work.
Check the mounting of the cutter and bushes on the spindle and full tightening of the nut before starting.
Observe the recommended speed of 6,200 RPM to avoid vibrations or damage to the cutting edge.
Do not force the feed on hardwoods — DS Steel inserts dull quickly under excessive pressure.
Resharpening: we recommend having it done at a specialised service to preserve the original profile geometry.
