🚀 PROPERTIES AND DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE:

  • Absolute Joint Precision: structurally optimized geometry for making 40 mm thick door frames and panels, ensuring zero tolerance in the profile-counterprofile joint.
  • 36 mm Tenon from the Counterprofile: the counterprofile cutter is designed to produce a 36 mm tenon directly from the workpiece thickness — useful for structural joints (door frames, window sashes) without a separate tenoning operation.
  • High-Quality Brazed Cutting Edge: the inserts, regardless of the chosen material (HSS M2 or HW (K40)), are professionally brazed, guaranteeing high mechanical shock resistance and impeccable finishes without torn fibers.
  • Calibrated Modular System: the set of 3 cutters and the included spacer ring allows micrometric height adjustments, compensating perfectly for normal wear after successive resharpenings.
  • Dynamic Balancing Class G2.5: reduces vibration on the machine spindle, protecting the drive bearings and ensuring a perfectly smooth surface (ready for painting or varnishing).
  • Mounting Versatility: Ø30 mm and Ø32 mm bores are standard for immediate delivery, with Ø35 mm or Ø40 mm available made to order.

⚠️ USAGE LIMITATIONS FOR THE HSS M2 VARIANT:

  • Wood-Based Panels Restriction: ❌ NOT recommended for particleboard, MDF, HDF or exotic wood! The synthetic binder in these materials will prematurely wear the high-speed steel cutting edge.
  • Alternative Solution: for composite or agglomerated wood panels, the variant with HW (K40) carbide inserts must be ordered.

💡 Conclusions for purchase:
  1. Working with Fir, Spruce or Pine? Stay with the HSS M2 variant. It is the only material that guarantees an immaculate light softwood surface without burn marks.
  2. Working with Oak, Beech or laminated panels? Choose the HW (K40) variant, structurally optimized for dense woods without rapid edge dulling.
  3. Bore Configuration: the Ø30 mm and Ø32 mm variant ships immediately from stock. For machines with Ø35 mm or Ø40 mm spindles, select the dedicated option or send a firm pre-order to our technical team.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES IN USE:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses (against flying chips), mask or respirator (fine wood dust) and ear protection for prolonged work.
  • Mind your hands and fingers: keep a safe distance from the cutting zone and use feed/push devices where possible; never reach near moving cutters.
  • Respect the set's mounting order: the 3 cutters and the spacer ring must be mounted exactly in the order shown in the technical drawing – a wrong order changes the final profile and may unbalance the assembly.
  • Check the clamping of the whole stack (cutters + ring) and the tightness of the spindle nut before starting the machine.
  • Respect the recommended speed of 6,000 – 9,000 RPM to avoid vibration or the risk of cutting edge breakage.
  • Resharpening: we recommend resharpening at a specialized center to preserve the profile geometry and the original rake angle.
