🚀 DYNAMIC PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE:

  • Absolute Joint Precision: structurally optimized geometry for making 40 mm thick door frames and panels, ensuring zero tolerance in the profile-counterprofile coupling.
  • 36 mm Tenon Recoverable from the Counterprofile: the counterprofile cutter is designed to recover a 36 mm tenon directly from the workpiece thickness — useful for structural joints (door frames, sashes) without a separate tenoning operation.
  • High-Quality Brazed Cutting Edge: the inserts, regardless of the chosen material (HSS M2 or HW (K40)), are professionally brazed, guaranteeing high mechanical shock resistance and impeccable finishes without fibre tear-out.
  • Calibrated Modular System: the set of 3 cutters and the included spacer ring allows micrometric height adjustments, adapting perfectly to the normal wear from successive resharpenings.
  • Dynamic Balancing Class G2.5: reduces vibration on the machine spindle, protecting the drive bearings and ensuring a perfectly smooth surface (ready for painting or lacquering).
  • Mounting Versatility: Ø30 mm and Ø32 mm bores are standardized for immediate delivery, with custom manufacturing available for Ø35 mm or Ø40 mm.

⚠️ LIMITATIONS IN USE FOR THE HSS M2 VERSION:

  • Wood Composites Restriction: ❌ NOT recommended for use on particleboard, MDF, HDF or exotic wood! The synthetic binder in these materials will prematurely wear the high-speed steel edge.
  • Alternative Solution: for composite or agglomerated wood panels, be sure to order the version with HW (K40) carbide inserts.

💡 Purchase Conclusions:
  1. Working with fir, spruce or pine? Stay with the HSS M2 version. It is the only material that guarantees an immaculate white finish on softwood, without burn marks.
  2. Working with oak, beech or laminated panels? Choose the HW (K40) version, structurally optimized for dense species without rapid loss of the cutting edge.
  3. Bore Configuration: the Ø30 mm and Ø32 mm versions are delivered immediately from stock. For machines with Ø35 mm or Ø40 mm spindles, select the dedicated option or send a firm pre-order to the technical team.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES IN USE:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses (against flying chips), mask or respirator (fine wood dust) and hearing protection for prolonged work.
  • Mind your hands and fingers: keep a safe distance from the cutting area and use feed/push devices where possible; do not reach near the moving cutters.
  • Observe the assembly order of the set: the 3 cutters and the spacer ring must be mounted exactly in the order shown on the technical drawing – an incorrect order alters the final profile and can unbalance the assembly.
  • Check the fastening of the entire package (cutters + ring) and the tightening of the spindle nut before starting the machine.
  • Observe the recommended speed of 6,000 – 9,000 RPM to avoid vibration or the risk of edge breakage.
  • Resharpening: we recommend having it done at a specialized center to preserve the profile geometry and the original rake angle.
