The petrol version of the TIREX branch chipper: the same housing, the same balanced disc and the same Pilana DS knife as the 2200 W electric model, driven by a Breckner Germany 7.5 HP petrol engine. No socket or extension cord needed: take it straight to the orchard, the vineyard or the edge of the forest and chip the branches right where you cut them.

Note: for transport reasons the engine ships with an empty crankcase. Pour in the supplied oil up to the dipstick mark, then fill with petrol and start.

✨ WHY THE PETROL TIREX:

Work anywhere: no socket, no long cables, no voltage drop at the end of an extension cord. The chipper goes where the branches are.
Ready to work out of the box: engine oil is included, you only need petrol.
Balanced disc, no vibration: the same balanced disc as the electric model, so the chipper stands steady on the ground.
Pilana DS knife, not generic steel: a chipper-type knife, resharpenable, that cuts wood cleanly instead of crushing it and doesn't chip on knots.
Spare knife included: when the fitted one gets dull, swap it in a few minutes (2 screws) and keep working.
Easy to move: pneumatic wheels and a handle, pull it like a wheelbarrow through the garden or orchard.

🌳 SUITABLE MATERIALS:

Fruit tree branches, vines and shrubs, from 5 mm up to 65 mm green (up to 50 mm if the wood is dry). The chips come out ready for mulching or composting. Suited to orchards, vineyards and land with no electricity at hand.

⚠️ LIMITATIONS:

❌ DO NOT feed MDF, chipboard, plastic or other composite materials: the Pilana DS knife is made for natural wood only, and synthetic materials damage the edge.
Max. diameter 65 mm (green) / 50 mm (dry): don't force thicker branches.

🦺 SAFETY RULES:

Never run the engine in enclosed spaces (garage, shed, cellar): exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide.
Refuel only with the engine off and cooled down. No smoking or open flames near the chipper.
Check the oil level before every start.
❌ DO NOT wear gloves while working. A glove caught by a branch can pull the hand towards the disc, while a bare hand withdraws instinctively.
No loose sleeves, scarves or dangling jewellery.
Never put your hand into the feed opening: push a stuck branch with another branch or a stick.
Wear safety glasses and ear protection: chips can fly out and the petrol engine is loud.
Stop the engine and pull the spark plug cap before changing the knife or clearing jammed material.
Keep children and animals away while the machine is running.
