Compatibility Explanations (%):

• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the cutter operates efficiently and durably.

• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).

• <60%: The wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 cutter.

Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, cemented carbide (Vidia) cutters would be a more suitable choice.
