Details are what differentiate ordinary furniture from premium. This molding cutter set is specially designed for craftsmen who value refinement and precision. Whether you are making mirror frames, door casings, or decorative elements for classic furniture, the resulting profile is fluid, clean, and perfectly proportioned.
✅ Choose the right variant for your project:
HSS M2 Variant (Premium High-Speed Steel):
- Ideal for: Softwood (Spruce, Fir, Pine) or hardwood (Beech, Oak).
- Advantage: Provides the finest wood finish, leaving the surface perfectly smooth, ready for varnishing.
TCT Carbide Variant (CMS - Cemented Carbide):
- Ideal for: MDF, melaminated chipboard, plywood, or hard exotic woods.
- Advantage: Extreme resistance to abrasive materials and extended blade life.
💎Why choose this set for your workshop?
Unlike standard cutters, model 01.25P2 stands out for its aggressive yet extremely fine cut, thanks to the geometry of the HSS M2 blades. This is the preferred material by professionals for working with solid wood because it keeps the cutting edge sharp longer and does not "burn" the wood fibers, even with more demanding species such as spruce or fir.
With this set, you significantly reduce manual sanding time. The surface directly from milling is smooth and ready for applying stain or varnish, ensuring uniform adhesion of the finish. It is the ideal investment for small-batch production or personalized projects where quality is the only acceptable option.
✅ Advantages:
➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut
➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS variant)
➤ Low risk of burning on natural wood
➤ Suitable for traditional woodworking shops and hobby CNC
⚠️ Usage limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the Carbide insert variant
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the fiber. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the processed species.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:
- Standard HSS: Exclusively very soft species (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
- HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees immaculate white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
- Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic species (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Plywood). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.
⚠️ Warning: Carbide requires constant feed. If you dwell in rotation on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
