⚠️ Important recommendation: make deep grooves in successive passes of 3–4 mm with moderate feed rate. This prevents the bit body from breaking under lateral pressure and ensures a flawless finish.

⚠️ USAGE LIMITATIONS:

  • Do not force the feed rate: excessive lateral pressure can break the bit body – respect successive passes of a maximum of 3–4 mm depth per pass.
  • Carbide on soft wood: requires constant feed rate – pausing in rotation on resinous woods (fir, spruce) can cause local burning due to friction.
  • Not suitable for: operations with intense lateral pressure or large-diameter cuts.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES FOR USE:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses (chips projected at high speed), mask or respirator (fine MDF/wood dust), and earmuffs.
  • Successive passes: do not make the full 12 mm depth in a single pass – you risk breaking the bit and projecting fragments.
  • Check collet clamping: ensure that the Ø8 mm shank is fully inserted and correctly tightened in the collet before starting.
  • Maintain a constant feed rate and do not pause the rotating bit at the same point.
  • Secure the workpiece firmly before milling – at D6 mm, any uncontrolled movement of the workpiece can break the bit.
