The professional R25 concave quarter-round router bit is designed for precise wood processing, ideal for creating flutes, decorative grooves, and deep rounds. The brazed HSS M2 (6.5% tungsten) inserts ensure a clean cut, high wear resistance, and durability in intensive use.
⚠️ The cutter is available in two working directions:
Right (above the wood) and Left (below the wood) – allowing you to choose the optimal option for your feed direction and machine configuration.
Features and Benefits:
✅ 25 mm Concave Radius – ideal for deep profiles, flutes, and decorative shapes
✅ Premium HSS M2 – durable inserts, consistent performance, and long lifespan
✅ Clean and Precise Cut – optimized geometry for a smooth finish without fiber tearing
✅ High Versatility – suitable for furniture, architectural elements, and artisanal woodworking
✅ Working Stability – balanced body, ideal for professional machines with standard bore
📌 Choose the appropriate working direction (right or left) and achieve perfect contours for solid wood projects.
⚠️ Usage Limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood.
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with Carbide inserts
HSS COMPATIBILITY:
The router bit can be mounted on most standard milling machines, suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

Compatibility Explanations (%):
• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the cutter works efficiently and durably.
• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
• <60%: Wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 cutter.
Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, carbide (Widia) cutters would be a more suitable choice.
