⚠️ Limitations in use:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the Carbide (Vidia) insert variant
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
Material selection depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed router bits are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:
- Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
- HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white finish without burning. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears out faster.
- Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Laminated). Lasts thousands of meters without sharpening.
⚠️ Attention: Carbide requires constant feed rate. If you dwell in rotation on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
