⚠️ Usage Limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with carbide inserts
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed router bits are optimized for stationary machines and CNCs, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood type being processed.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:
- Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
- HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white finish without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
- Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Laminated wood). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.
⚠️ Warning: Carbide requires constant feed rate. If you stop rotating on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
