The professional cutter for longitudinal laminated joints is designed for creating strong and precise joints between solid wood boards or panels. Due to its deep cuts and shouldered profile, it allows for perfect adhesion and superior mechanical fastening.
The cutter has deep teeth of 2.5 mm and can start working from a minimum material thickness of 10 mm.
🔧 Main features:
✅ Precise and resistant joints – tapered laminated profile with a shoulder, ensuring uniform adhesion and stable fastening of wooden elements.
✅ High-quality material – brazed HSS inserts with 6.8% tungsten, resistant to wear and high temperatures.
✅ Maximum speed 6000 rpm – ensures clean cuts, without burning, even at high working speeds.
✅ Extended compatibility – suitable for professional, industrial, or classic routing machines used in solid wood processing.
Ideal for carpentry workshops and furniture production, this HSS cutter guarantees stable, durable joints and a superior quality finish.
⚠️ Limitations in use:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with carbide inserts
HSS COMPATIBILITY:
The cutter is mounted on most standard routing machines, suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

Compatibility explanations (%):
• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the cutter works efficiently and durably.
• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
• <60%: Wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 cutter.
Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, carbide (Widia) cutters would be a more suitable choice.
