Main Features:

Precise and strong joints – Allows for a uniform and solid bond of wood elements.

High-quality material – Brazed inserts made of Standard HSS ensure maximum durability.

✅ Extended compatibility – Works with various professional milling machines.

📌 Perfect for joining solid wood panels and structures!

⚠️ Limitations in use:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the Vidia insert variant

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. VIDIA (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:

  • Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood species (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
  • HSS M2: The "king" of conifers. Guarantees immaculate white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears out faster.
  • Vidia (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood species (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Laminated). Lasts thousands of meters without sharpening.

⚠️ Attention: Vidia requires constant feed. If you dwell in rotation on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
