The professional longitudinal finger joint cutter is designed for creating strong and precise joints between solid wood boards or panels. Thanks to its deep cutting edges and shouldered profile, it allows for perfect gluing and superior mechanical fastening.
The cutter has deep 5 mm teeth and can start working from a minimum material thickness of 15 mm.
🔧 Key Features:
✅ Precise and durable joints – tapered lamellar profile with shoulder, ensuring uniform gluing and stable fastening of wood elements.
✅ High-quality material – brazed inserts made of HSS M2 with 6.5% tungsten, resistant to wear and high temperatures.
✅ Maximum speed 9000 rpm – ensures clean cuts, without burning, even at high working speeds.
✅ Extended compatibility – suitable for professional, industrial, or classic routing machines used in solid wood processing.
Ideal for carpentry workshops and furniture production, this HSS cutter guarantees stable, durable joints and a superior finish.
⚠️ Usage limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the Carbide insert version
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
Material choice depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species processed.

✅ Purchase Conclusions:
- Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
- HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
- Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Plywood). Lasts thousands of meters without sharpening.
⚠️ Warning: Carbide requires constant feed rate. If you stop rotating on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
