4 brazed HSS M2 teeth – smooth cut, increased durability

Wear resistance: up to 3,000 linear meters in softwood

Replaceable inserts – the router bit becomes a long-term investment, not a consumable

⚙️ Benefits and Applicability:

🔹 Ideal for rounding edges in furniture, steps, countertops, frames, and curved structures

🔹 Fine and uniform cuts, without tearing wood fibers

🔹 Industrial performance – high efficiency and extended lifespan

🔹 Inserts can be resharpened or replaced – significant cost reduction over time

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed router bits are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.

✅ Purchase Conclusions:

  • Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood species (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
  • HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white finish without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
  • Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood species (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Particleboard, Plywood). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.

⚠️ Attention: Carbide requires constant feed rate. If you dwell in rotation on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
