This high-performance router bit is specially designed for creating clean and precise grooves in a variety of materials – from solid wood to engineered panels.

Advantages:

➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut

➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS version)

➤ Low risk of burning natural wood

➤ Suitable for traditional woodworking shops and hobby CNC

⚠️ Usage Limitations:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with Vidia inserts

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. VIDIA (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed router bits are optimized for stationary machines and CNC, but their performance varies drastically depending on the processed wood species.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:

  1. Working with Spruce, Fir, or Pine? Go straight for HSS M2. It's the only one that guarantees immaculate white wood, without black burn marks, thanks to its extremely sharp edge that "shaves" the fibers.
  2. Working with Oak, Beech, or layered wood? Choose Vidia. The temperature resistance of cemented carbide allows it to cut hard woods for thousands of linear meters without needing sharpening.
  3. Speed and Feed Rate: Remember that brazed router bits with Vidia require a constant feed rate. If you stop the rotating bit on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
