Diameter: 125, 160, 180 mm | Thickness: 16 mm | Tungsten carbide brazed
This high-performance router bit is specially designed for creating clean and precise grooves and dados in a wide range of materials – from solid wood to engineered panels.
🔧 Technical Specifications:
Outer Diameter: 125, 160, 180 mm (selectable)
Cutting Thickness: 16 mm
Tungsten carbide (Widia) brazed cutting edges – excellent wear resistance and long lifespan
🛠️ Material Compatibility:
Softwood and Hardwood – clean cuts in any wood species
MDF – ideal for routing without fiber tear-out
Particleboard (PAL) – precise grooves in agglomerated panels
✅ Advantages:
Industrial Durability – carbide cutting edges ensure long-lasting routing even under intensive use
Workshop Versatility – performs impeccably on multiple material types
Precision in Execution – essential for grooves and dados needed in furniture construction, frames, or technical structures
📌 It is recommended to use on equipment compatible with the specified diameter and arbor, respecting the appropriate rotational speeds for the processed material.
Compatibility:

Compatibility Explanations (%) for Tungsten Carbide (Widia) Router Bits:
• 92–85%: Exceptional performance, the bit operates efficiently with an extended lifespan even under intensive use.
• 84–70%: Very good processing, but minor adjustments may be needed, such as feed rate or the use of a cooling fluid to prevent overheating.
• 70%: The wood is extremely abrasive (e.g., very hard species or high silica content), which can accelerate blade wear, although durability remains superior to HSS bits.
✅ Recommendation: For the hardest wood species (exotic, high-density, or rich in mineral resins), Widia router bits are the ideal solution due to their high hardness (85–92 HRC / 1600–1800 HV Vickers), offering exceptional resistance to wear and high temperatures.
