This high-performance router bit is specially designed for creating clean and precise grooves and rebates in a wide range of materials – from solid wood to engineered boards.
✅ Advantages:
➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut
➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS version)
➤ Low risk of burning on natural wood
➤ Suitable for traditional woodworking shops and hobby CNC machines
⚠️ Limitations in use:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with carbide inserts (Vidia)
HSS COMPATIBILITY:
The router bit can be mounted on most standard routing machines, being suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

HSS M2(%) compatibility explanation:
• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the router bit works efficiently and durably.
• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
• <60%: The wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 router bit.
Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, router bits made of cemented carbides (Widia) would be a more suitable choice.
CARBIDE COMPATIBILITY:

Compatibility explanation (%) for cemented carbide (Widia) router bits:
• 92–85%: Exceptional performance, the router bit operates efficiently with a long lifespan even under intensive use.
• 84–70%: Very good processing, but minor adjustments may be necessary, such as feed speed or using a coolant to prevent overheating.
• 70%: The wood is extremely abrasive (e.g., very hard species or those with high silica content), which can accelerate cutting edge wear, although durability remains superior to HSS router bits.
✅ Recommendation: For the hardest wood species (exotic, high-density, or rich in mineral resins), carbide router bits (Widia) are the ideal solution due to their high hardness (85…92 HRC / 1600 – 1800 HV Vickers), offering exceptional resistance to wear and high temperatures.
