✨ Features and Performance:

  • Box Jointer & Lock Miter Joint System: Specifically designed for creating invisible 45° joints, this router bit functions as an advanced box jointer, ensuring automatic panel alignment and unparalleled structural strength.
  • Robust 3-Piece Construction: The assembly consists of 3 solidly joined bodies, providing superior stability during cutting and efficient vibration elimination on shaper/router table machines.
  • Extended Working Capacity (30-42 mm): The router bit profile is intelligently designed to allow processing a wide range of material thicknesses (between 30 mm and 42 mm) using the same set of blades, without requiring complicated adjustments.
  • "Lock Miter" Joint at 45°: Creates the male-female profile in a single pass, which self-aligns perfectly upon assembly. The large contact surface ensures an extremely strong bond for massive furniture pieces.
  • Versatility in Blade Choice: Available with brazed inserts made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) for a "mirror" finish on softwood or Carbide for maximum durability on hardwood, laminated wood, or composite materials.
  • Industrial Finish: The attack angle of the blades is optimized to prevent chipping of edges, even with difficult wood grain types.
  • Perfect Balance: The body of the router bit is CNC machined to ensure optimal dynamic balance, protecting the machine's bearings and ensuring consistent cutting.

⚠️ Usage Limitations:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for particleboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood.

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the variant with Carbide inserts.

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed router bits are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the processed wood species.

✅ Conclusions for Purchase:

  1. Working with Spruce, Fir, or Pine? Go directly for HSS M2. It's the only one that guarantees an immaculate white finish for the wood, without black burn marks, thanks to its extremely sharp edge that "shaves" the grain.
  2. Working with Oak, Beech, or Laminated Wood? Choose Carbide. The temperature resistance of cemented carbide allows it to cut hard woods for thousands of linear meters without needing sharpening.
  3. Speed and Feed: Remember that carbide brazed router bits require a constant feed rate. If you stop the rotating router bit in softwood, burning is guaranteed.
