☞ Robust hardened steel body – ensures perfect balance and reduced vibrations during operation

HSS brazed cutting edges – the ideal choice depending on material type and intensity of use

Versatile – optimized for soft and medium-density wood (fir, spruce, lime, beech, light oak)

✅ Advantages:

➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut

➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS version)

➤ Low risk of burning natural wood

➤ Suitable for traditional carpentry workshops and hobby CNC machines

⚠️ Usage Limitations:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for particleboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with Carbide inserts

HSS COMPATIBILITY:

The cutter can be mounted on most standard milling machines, suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

Compatibility Explanations (%)

  • 95–80%: Optimal performance for soft and semi-hard wood; clean and stable cut, reduced wear in normal working conditions.
  • 79–60%: Good processing, but requires regular maintenance — periodic sharpening or moderate RPM to avoid overheating.
  • <60%: The wood is dense, oily, or very hard, leading to accelerated wear and rapid loss of the cutting edge.

Recommendation: For hardwoods and exotic woods, it is recommended to use HSS M2 Premium (62–66 HRC) or carbide inserts (Widia), which offer superior resistance and longer lifespan.
