☞ Robust treated steel body – ensures perfect balance and reduced vibrations during work

Cutting edges brazed with HSS M2 or Carbide (tungsten carbide) inserts – the ideal choice depending on the material type and intensity of use

Versatile – optimized for soft to medium hardwoods (spruce, fir, linden, beech, light oak)

✅ Advantages:

➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut

➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS variant)

➤ Low risk of burning on natural wood

➤ Suitable for traditional carpentry workshops and hobby CNC

⚠️ Limitations in use:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the carbide insert variant

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the grain. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the processed essence.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:

  • Standard HSS: Exclusively very soft essences (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
  • HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees immaculate white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
  • Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic essences (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Laminated). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.

⚠️ Attention: Carbide requires constant feed rate. If you dwell in rotation on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
