☞ Robust steel body – ensures perfect balance and reduced vibrations during operation
☞ HSS brazed cutting edges – the ideal choice depending on the material type and usage intensity
☞ Versatile – optimized for soft and medium hardwoods (spruce, fir, linden, beech, light oak)
✅ Advantages:
➤ Fine, precise and consistent cut
➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS variant)
➤ Low risk of burning on natural wood
➤ Suitable for traditional woodworking shops and hobby CNC
⚠️ Usage Limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for particleboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the variant with carbide inserts
🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the fiber. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary machines and CNC, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:
- Working with Fir, Spruce, or Pine? Go straight for HSS M2. It's the only one that guarantees immaculate white wood, without black burn marks, thanks to its extremely sharp edge that "shaves" the fiber.
- Working with Oak, Beech, or laminated wood? Choose Carbide. The temperature resistance of cemented carbide allows it to cut hard woods for thousands of linear meters without needing sharpening.
- Speed and Feed Rate: Remember that carbide brazed cutters require a constant feed rate. If you stop the rotating cutter on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
