  • Finish Directly from Milling: the HSS M2 cutting edge leaves the surface smooth and ready for stain or lacquer – significantly reduced sanding time compared to standard cutters.
  • Silver-Brazed HSS M2 Blade (Ag): high mechanical resistance to impacts, without the risk of burning wood fibers, even with more demanding wood species.
  • Suitable for Table Router and Hobby CNC: optimized geometry for controlled, manual or mechanized feeding.
  • Long-Term Investment: inserts can be successively resharpened at a specialized center, and in case of advanced wear, the cutter body can be re-brazed with new inserts.

⚠️ LIMITATIONS IN USE (HSS M2 VERSION):

  • Exclusive Purpose: this version is exclusively intended for processing natural solid wood.
  • Not Recommended for Composites: ❌ NOT recommended for use on particleboard, MDF, HDF, or exotic wood! The synthetic binder prematurely wears out the high-speed steel blade.
  • Correct Alternative: for derived materials or very hard wood species, request the version with T.C.T. carbide inserts.

Excellent: impeccable finish, no burns, surface ready for direct lacquering.

Good: efficient results, blade wear is faster than on softwoods.

The synthetic binder prematurely wears out the HSS blade.

💡 For constant processing of hardwoods or derived panels, the equivalent version with T.C.T. carbide inserts is also available.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES IN USE:

  • Protective equipment mandatory: safety glasses (against projected chips), mask or respirator filter (fine wood dust), and ear protection for prolonged work.
  • Attention to hands and fingers: maintain a safe distance from the cutting area and use feed/push devices where possible; do not manually intervene near the moving cutter.
  • Check the cutter's secure fastening on the spindle and the complete tightening of the nut before starting the machine.
  • Observe the recommended speed of 9,000 RPM, to avoid vibrations or the risk of blade breakage.
  • Resharpening: we recommend resharpening at a specialized center to maintain the original cutting angle of the blade.
