DYNAMIC PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE
- High-Precision Structural Joints: The complete 4-piece router bit set is exclusively designed for the perfect assembly of furniture elements (kitchen doors, frames, panels, and front panels). Industrial calibration of the profiles guarantees a tight, clean, and mechanically resistant joint for long-term use.
- Elegant Decorative V-Groove: The cutters are geometrized so that, at the moment of final joining between the profile and counterprofile, a fine and visible V-shaped channel results. This technical detail discreetly masks the natural expansion behavior of wood and adds an aesthetic shadow line that enhances the design of classic or premium furniture.
- Dual Material Option (HSS vs. Carbide): The tools are natively produced with HSS M2 High-Speed Steel blades (enriched with 6.5% Tungsten), ideal for achieving a smooth and glossy finish directly from the machine on soft or hard natural wood. For workshops processing composite materials, the Heavy-Duty version with T.C.T. Carbide inserts is also available.
- Durability and Simplified Maintenance: Thanks to brazing with a special silver (Ag) alloy, the inserts support repeated sharpening cycles directly on the relief face without losing their profile calibration, offering excellent efficiency of up to 3,000 linear meters in softwoods before the first maintenance.
⚠️ Cutting material selection guide:
✅ HSS M2 Premium version: 100% recommended for natural wood (Spruce, Pine, Oak, Beech) – impeccable finish without torn fibers.
✅ T.C.T. Carbide version: Recommended for MDF, doors intended for painting, or layered chipboards.
🛠️ Professional Selection Guide: HSS M2 vs. T.C.T. Carbide for Furniture
Configure your tool correctly based on the workload and types of materials processed in your workshop:
| Type of Work Material | HSS M2 Premium ⭐ (Available in stock) |
T.C.T. Carbide (By pre-order / Coming soon) |
|---|---|---|
| Solid Natural Wood (Softwoods, Linden, Beech, Oak) |
⭐ Optimal (100%) (Glossy surface / No sanding required) |
Recommended (85%) (Standard cutting by structural impact) |
| Raw or Painted MDF / HDF (Milled door fronts) |
Not recommended / Rapid wear | ⭐ Optimal (100%) (Maximum resistance to binders and glues) |
| Melamine Faced Chipboard / Composites | Strictly Forbidden | ⭐ Optimal (100%) (Prevents chipping of edges) |
| Finish of the decorative V-edge | Extremely sharp (No chipping) | Industrial standard |
| Hardness and sharpness | 64 – 66 HRC (Easy to sharpen) | 85 – 92 HRC (Requires diamond disc) |
✅ Practical tips for mounting and operation:
- Panel thickness: The set is factory configured for thicknesses of 22-25 mm. Ensure that the material is uniformly planed before routing to avoid unevenness at the angled joint points.
- Spindle centering: Mounts directly on classic Ø30 or Ø35 mm spindles. For heavy machines with a Ø40 mm spindle, request the dedicated version when ordering to eliminate the use of additional bushings and prevent vibrations when idle.
- Operating mode: Maintain a constant speed of approximately 9,000 RPM. Erratic manual or mechanical feeding can cause local burns on hardwoods, reducing the lifespan of the active cutting edge.
