DYNAMIC PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE

  • 10 mm Shadow Gap for Three-Dimensional Design: The special geometry of these cutters creates a flat and perfectly straight step of 10 mm width at the joint before the 30° bevel begins. This generous "shadow gap" gives the paneling (STS / Rhombus type with rebate) a distinctively modern linear architectural appearance, highlighting each lamella and effectively concealing natural wood contractions.
  • Smart 3+2 Modular Cutter System: Due to the geometric complexity created by the combination of the beveled angle and the flat step, the set has been structurally segmented into a group of 5 independent cutters (3 pieces on one side and 2 pieces on the other side). This architecture offers a huge practical advantage for maintenance, facilitating quick and correct sharpening of each angle directly on the tooth's relief face.
  • Fluid Adjustment for Thin or Thick Paneling: The segmented design eliminates the rigid constraints of monoblock tools. By simply repositioning and sliding the two cutter sub-assemblies on your machine's spindle, you can easily switch from processing thin 12 mm paneling to massive 20 mm thick elements, while maintaining the perfectly calibrated 15 mm channel.
  • Professional HSS M2 High-Speed Steel Blade: The industrially brazed profiled inserts are made from premium HSS M2 alloy (6.5% W). High-speed steel guarantees a significantly finer and more finished cutting edge than carbide (TCT), leaving flat and beveled surfaces perfectly smooth, without micro-fiber tear-out or chipping at the edges.

⚠️ Operating guide based on material:

✅ Ideal for: Soft natural wood (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden) and hardwoods (Beech, Oak, Ash).

❌ Prohibited for use on chipboard, MDF, HDF, composites, or agglomerated materials (causes instant wear of the HSS blade)!

🛠️ Professional Selection Guide: HSS M2 vs. T.C.T. Carbide

Choosing the correct material directly influences machine performance and finish quality. Consult the technical differences below:

Processed Material HSS M2 Premium ⭐
(Choice for this set)
T.C.T. Carbide
(Carbide Alloy)
Soft Natural Wood
(Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden)
⭐ 100%
(Smooth Finish / No pulled fibers)
80%
(Medium risk of burns at slow feed rate)
Hard Natural Wood
(Oak, Beech, Ash, Hornbeam)
80%
(Clean cut / Requires more frequent sharpening)
⭐ 100%
(Maximum wear resistance)
MDF / Chipboard / HDF / Agglomerates Forbidden / Not Recommended ⭐ 100%
(Optimal for synthetic adhesives)
Cutting Edge Quality Maximum (Extremely fine/sharp edge) Standard (Chipping due to structural impact)
Active Layer Hardness 64 – 66 HRC 85 – 92 HRC

✅ Technical Recommendations for Mounting and Use:

  1. Workshop Versatility: The set allows for flexible configuration of production lines for exterior or interior paneling profiles, covering a wide range of commercial thicknesses (12 - 23 mm).
  2. Machine Integration: Designed natively for Ø40 mm industrial spindles used on 4-sided planers. It can also be safely operated on a classic spindle moulder (Ø30 or Ø35 mm spindle) by using professionally centered reducing rings or bushings.
  3. Maintenance: Dividing the cutting group into 3 and 2 cutter sub-assemblies respectively greatly facilitates periodic resharpening on the tooth face, protecting the perfectly calibrated 10 mm shadow gap profiles and massively extending the tool's lifespan.
