🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)
The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the fiber. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the processed wood species.

✅ Acquisition Conclusions:
- Standard HSS: Exclusively very soft wood species (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Lime). Economical, fine cut.
- HSS M2: The "King" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
- Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood species (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Particleboard, Laminated wood). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.
⚠️ Attention: Carbide requires constant feed. If you dwell in rotation on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
