🚀 DYNAMIC PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE:

  • Z6 Force Configuration: equipped with 6 cutting teeth, the cutter ensures rapid chip evacuation, reducing vibrations and providing a clean finish to the groove, without fiber tearing.
  • Dense Blade with 6.5% Tungsten: the special HSS M2 alloy offers exceptional resistance to micro-chipping upon impact with knots, keeping its edge sharp longer than standard steel.
  • Shock-Absorbing Brazing: the fixing of inserts with a silver (Ag) based alloy absorbs mechanical shock waves during processing, protecting the integrity of the teeth and the machine spindle bearings.
  • Durable Investment (Reusable Body): unlike monobloc cutters that are discarded after wear, the thick SolGrat steel body allows professional re-brazing (welding of new inserts) at a specialized center, saving long-term costs.
  • Flexibility through Variants: the product is available in multiple width variants (4–60 mm) and standardized bores, configurable directly from the product page.

⚠️ IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS IN USE (HSS M2 VARIANT):

  • Exclusive Purpose: this HSS M2 range is exclusively intended for processing natural solid wood.
  • Prohibited Materials: ❌ NOT recommended and strictly forbidden for use on particleboard, MDF, HDF, or exotic wood!
  • Correct Alternative: for particleboards, composite materials, or wood derivatives with abrasive adhesive, request the variant with T.C.T. Vidia inserts.

📊 COMPATIBILITY GRADE BY MATERIAL TYPE (HSS M2)

Softwood (Spruce, Pine) 100%
Excellent: clean cut, no burns, impeccable groove finish.
Hardwood (Beech, Oak, Ash) 80%
Good: structurally efficient, but the blade wears out faster than on softwoods.
Particleboard / MDF / HDF / Laminated / Composites Not Recommended / Forbidden
The synthetic binder in these materials prematurely wears out the HSS blade.

💡 For MDF/particleboard/HDF/laminated panels or for intensive work on hardwoods, the equivalent variant with T.C.T. Vidia inserts is also available, much more resistant to the abrasive wear of these materials.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES IN USE:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses (against projected chips), mask or respirator filter (fine wood dust), and ear protection for prolonged work.
  • Attention to hands and fingers: maintain a safe distance from the cutting area and use feed/push devices where possible; do not manually intervene near the moving cutter.
  • Check the cutter's fastening on the spindle before starting the machine.
  • Respect the recommended speed of 9,000 RPM, to avoid vibrations or the risk of blade breakage.
