Premium HSS Quality for Tight and Durable Joints! 🛠️

Transform barrel production into a precision process! This router bit set is specifically designed for creating solid barrel staves, rounded furniture, tubs, kayaks, or canoes made of solid wood. 🛶

Why choose this set?

  • ✨ Perfect Sealing: The concave-convex profile is precisely calculated for each stave to join perfectly, eliminating gaps and leaks.
  • 🔥 Durable Premium HSS: High-speed steel blades resist intensive wear and provide deep, clean cuts without burning the wood fiber.
  • 📐 Versatility: Ideal for workshops and professional manufacturers working with softwood (spruce, fir, pine).

🔧 Recommended Uses:

  • 🛁 Large tubs and barrels – Essential for sealed saunas and spas.
  • 🪣 Robust barrels – Solid structure with deep and resistant joints.
  • 🪑 Curved furniture – Uncompromising processing for thick wood.

⚠️ Limitations in use:

❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood

❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with carbide inserts

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on wood hardness but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the fiber. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood processed.

✅ Purchase Conclusions:

  • Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft woods (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
  • HSS M2: The "king" of softwoods. Guarantees immaculate white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears out faster.
  • Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic woods (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Particleboard, Plywood). Resists thousands of meters without sharpening.

⚠️ Warning: Carbide requires constant feed. If you dwell in rotation on soft wood, burning is guaranteed.
