Set of 5 Professional Cutters for Wooden Windows – Premium HSS
Complete set of 5 profiled cutters, optimized for wooden window production on a vertical spindle moulder or stationary machinery. The standard profile is 40 mm, but the knife geometry also allows for processing profiles up to 45 mm, offering flexibility for custom orders without requiring an additional set. Suitable for windows made of soft wood, solid wood, or laminated wood, as well as interior doors with glass.

⚙️ WHY CHOOSE THE PREMIUM HSS RANGE:
- High-Quality High-Speed Steel (HSS): ensures a clean cut, without burning the fibers, and superior resistance to thermal wear.
- Anti-Kickback Design: the cutter profile is designed to limit chip thickness, ensuring safe use and increased control.
- Dynamic Balancing: each cutter is computer-balanced to eliminate vibrations, protecting machine bearings and finish quality.
- Optimized Geometry: rake angles are calculated for quick chip evacuation, preventing overheating.
- Long-Term Investment: inserts can be successively resharpened, and in case of advanced wear, the cutter body can be re-brazed with new inserts.
⚠️ LIMITATIONS IN USE (HSS M2 VERSION):
- Not Recommended for Composites: ❌ We do NOT recommend the HSS version for particleboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood.
- The Correct Solution: for composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with T.C.T. Vidia inserts.
📊 COMPATIBILITY LEVEL BY MATERIAL TYPE (HSS M2)
💡 For consistently processed hardwoods or MDF/particleboard/HDF/laminated panels, an equivalent version with T.C.T. Vidia inserts is also available, which is much more resistant to the abrasive wear of these materials. Caution: Vidia requires constant feed – remaining stationary while rotating on softwood can cause fiber burning.
🦺 SAFETY MEASURES FOR USE:
- Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses (against projected chips), mask or respirator filter (fine wood dust), and ear defenders for prolonged work.
- Hand and finger safety: maintain a safe distance from the cutting area and use feed/push devices where possible; do not manually intervene near moving cutters.
- Observe the assembly order of the set: the 5 cutters and the spacer ring must be assembled exactly in the order indicated in the technical drawing – an incorrect order alters the final profile and can unbalance the assembly at 9,000 RPM.
- Check the fastening of the entire package (cutters + ring) and the tightening of the spindle nut before starting the machine.
- Do not exceed the recommended speed of 9,000 RPM to avoid vibrations or the risk of blade breakage.
