This set of 8 adjustable router bits is specifically designed for woodworking workshops that produce solid wood doors with glass panels. The thermal expansion joint (thermo-joint) technology allows for the natural expansion of wood, preventing cracking of panels or joints over time.
✅ Advantages of the HSS M2 Set:
- Extra-Fine Cut: HSS M2 steel offers a much sharper cutting edge than carbide (Widia), resulting in smooth surfaces that require minimal sanding.
- Thermal Joint System: The geometry of the router bits automatically creates the necessary expansion channel for long-term door stability.
- Easy Resharpening: Due to the HSS material, the router bits can be resharpened multiple times without losing their cutting properties.
- Perfect Balance: Robust body made of treated steel, designed for reduced vibration at high speeds.
⚠️ Limitations of use:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for particleboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood.
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the variant with carbide inserts.
HSS COMPATIBILITY:
The router bit can be mounted on most standard routing machines, suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

Compatibility Explanations (%):
• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the router bit operates efficiently and durably.
• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
• <60%: The wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 router bit.
Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, router bits made of cemented carbide (Widia) would be a more suitable choice.
