This page presents the available configurations for the shadow line router bit set. The price is determined individually, based on the selected parameters. Use the "Request a Quote" button to send us your desired configuration.

The shadow line router bit set is designed for producing decorative paneling with parallel grooves on the visible face of the board – also known as shadow line paneling or, depending on the number of grooves, Single Shadow, Double Shadow, or Triple Shadow. The grooves create plays of light and shadow on the paneling surface, giving it a modern, architectural look, frequently used for facades, ceilings, or interior walls. Each set is produced entirely to order, according to the dimensions and configuration desired by the workshop, adapted directly to the client's machine.

🔧 WHAT THE SET INCLUDES:

  • Main Shadow Line Cutter: creates parallel grooves on the visible face of the board. Available with 1, 2, or 3 grooves, with adjustable working space between 100 and 150 mm – adapts to the desired finished width of the paneling.
  • Side Tongue and Groove Cutters: create the joint between boards, according to client requirements – straight (classic) or tapered, with configurable joint depth and thickness upon request.

💡 The attached technical drawings are examples from projects already executed for clients and illustrate real configuration possibilities – they do not represent fixed catalog variants.

📐 SHADOW LINE VARIANTS – CHOOSE ACCORDING TO THE DESIRED EFFECT:

  • Single Shadow (1 groove): a single shadow line, discreet, elegant effect. Recommended for large surfaces where a calmer look is desired.
  • Double Shadow (2 grooves): a balance between visual effect and production costs – most common for interior and exterior decorative paneling.
  • Triple Shadow (3 grooves): more pronounced play of shadows, premium architectural look, similar to established market models (e.g., Lunawood Luna Triple Shadow).

💡 The finished board width and the number of grooves correlate: for wider boards (140–150 mm), 2–3 grooves give a more visually balanced result than a single groove.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES FOR USE:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses, mask or respirator filter (fine wood dust), and earmuffs for prolonged work.
  • Attention to hands and fingers: when processing long boards, use push sticks and guides; do not manually guide the workpiece near the cutters.
  • Check the secure mounting of the cutters on the arbor and the complete tightening of the nut before starting.
  • Resharpening: the 6 mm HSS M2 inserts can be resharpened, and in case of advanced wear, the cutter body can be re-brazed at a specialized center to maintain the groove geometry.
