Bore Shaper Cutters for Wood – Spindle Moulders and 4-Sided Planers

All SolGrat bore shaper cutters in one collection: profiled cutters for furniture, doors, raised panels, cladding, groove and rebate, joints and decorative profiles. They fit vertical-spindle moulders and 4-sided moulding machines, with a standard Ø30 mm bore (Ø32 or Ø40 mm on some models) and reducing bushings for other spindles.

Cutting Edge: DS, HSS M2 or HW (K40)

• DS Steel – economical option for softwood (fir, spruce, pine, lime).
• HSS M2 (6% W · 5% Mo, 63–65 HRC) – solid wood, fine finish without burning; easy to resharpen.
• HW (K40) – tungsten carbide, 86–87 HRA – hardwood, MDF, particleboard and serial production.

The tips are brazed onto a heat-treated, dynamically balanced steel body and can be resharpened several times at a specialised service centre.
