☞ Robust hardened steel body – ensures perfect balance and reduced vibration during work
☞ HSS M2 brazed cutting edges – the ideal choice depending on the material type and usage intensity
☞ Versatile – optimized for soft and medium hardwoods (fir, spruce, linden, beech, light oak)
✅ Advantages:
➤ Fine, precise, and consistent cut
➤ Easy to resharpen (HSS version)
➤ Low risk of burning natural wood
➤ Suitable for traditional carpentry workshops and hobby CNC
⚠️ Usage Limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS version for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the version with carbide inserts
HSS Compatibility
Compatibility Explanations (%):
• 90–80%: Optimal performance, the router bit works efficiently and durably.
• 79–60%: Good processing, but requires maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
• <60%: The wood is too hard or oily, leading to rapid wear of the HSS M2 router bit.
Recommendation: For exotic or very hard woods, carbide (Vidia) router bits would be a more suitable choice.
