• 🔹 Working position above or below the workpiece – chosen according to your machine and feed method.

DS Steel, HSS M2 or HW (K40)?

• DS Steel – low cost, for softwood only.
• HSS M2 (63–65 HRC) – the ideal choice for softwood (fir, pine): very sharp edge, mirror finish without burning, perfect for fine decorative detail, with many resharpenings possible.
• HW (K40) – tungsten carbide, 86–87 HRA: maximum durability on hardwood (oak, beech) and composite materials.
