⚠️ USAGE LIMITATIONS:

  • ❌ NOT recommended for particleboard, MDF, HDF or very hard exotic wood – synthetic binders wear the HSS edge prematurely.
  • Intended for natural solid wood only – common softwoods and hardwoods (fir, spruce, pine, beech, oak).

Excellent: clean white finish, no burn marks, efficient and long-lasting cutting.
Hardwood (Beech, Oak, Ash) 80%
Good: efficient cutting, but needs more frequent maintenance (sharpening or cooling).
Particleboard / MDF / HDF / Very Hard Exotic Wood Not recommended
Very hard wood or synthetic binders quickly wear the HSS M2 cutting edge.

💡 Recommendation: the cutter fits most standard spindle moulders and is suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

🦺 SAFETY MEASURES:

  • Mandatory protective equipment: safety glasses, a respirator mask or filter (fine wood dust) and hearing protection for extended work.
  • Check the mounting of the cutters on the spindle and that the nut is fully tightened before starting.
  • Observe the recommended speed of 9,000 RPM to avoid vibration or damage to the cutting edge.
  • Resharpening: we recommend having it done at a specialised service centre to preserve the original profile geometry.
